Pursuit, Attaining, Maintaining and Sustaining of the IMP (Individual Maximum Potential)

During the best of any times, as well as the worst of any times, believe it or not, the most important matter of personal concern to any of us is the pursuit, attaining, maintaining and sustaining of the IMP (Individual Maximum Potential).

Many of us have heard it said that “You can’t love someone else if you don't love yourself, first.” Also, you can’t help someone else unless you can help your self. That’s why airlines tell people with babies that, if the airplane gets into trouble during flight, they should put their seatbelt on first, then secure the baby.

We’ve also heard that “The road to hell is paved with good deeds.” Like far too many things that many people say from memory without understanding or thinking clearly about the full meaning of what they’re saying, that statement is, at least, incomplete. The more complete statement, thought and idea is “The road to hell can be paved with good deeds, if one does not have the right motives and intentions.”
